Many visitors to our valley think of Big Bear only as a Winter Resort. They enjoy the thrill of Snowboarding at Bear Mountain or a day of Alpine Skiing at Snow Summit. They race Bobsleds at Magic Mountain, slide over bumps in an Inner Tube at Big Bear Snow Play, and rent Cross Country Skis or Snowshoes to track across fresh powder in more remote areas.
 
The truth is that Big Bear offers activities year-round. Just make sure you purchase an Adventure Pass to be able to park on Forest Lands (available at numerous local retailers). Fishing License Required (also available at local retailers). Here are a few things you can do in Big Bear:
